It's not good when an economist says "yikes."


Looking through an old pile of Wall Street Journals that were originally intended for perfunctory reading, I came across this chart in this article while studying for a paper. While I truly believe that the actions of the Fed and government up to this point have been the right ones, it will be interesting to see if both can change course once expansion starts again. History shows they probably can't. History also shows that also probably means some gloomy hyperinflation.

My favorite part: when the committe justified their deletions in the 1975 edition. They called Who's on the Lords Side, Who: “amateurish, jingoist, and self-congratulatory, with music that sounds like a cheap London dance hall tune.”
